Committees at Northwestern Heights

Four standing committees have been designated for the association:

Realtor Committee Helps realtors understand the charm and advantages of our neighborhood as a stable neighborhood with mostly permanent home owners; the new name for the neighborhood; and neighborhood rules that effect realtors, for example, disallowing prolonged For Sale signage after a home is sold.

Neighbor Relations Committee  Deals with issues of house and yard upkeep and over-occupancy.  Works with the city to uphold city codes related to home maintenance, occupancy, any inoperable vehicles, and also communicates with the neighborhood as a whole, or individually when issues arise.

Welcoming Committee Welcomes new residents, through personal visits, a familiarization packet of local information, and a token gift of welcome.

Bereavement Commitee Makes neighborhood contact with those families who have lost a family member, to express sympathy and lend moral support.
