June 9 (Sat.) Neighborhood Garage Sale The garage sale was a lot of fun, both for getting rid of stuff, and getting out and mingling with the neighbors. Here are a few pics from only a few of the many garage sales in the neighborhood.

December Wine and Cheese Party Always a highlight of the holiday season, we had warm and wonderful conversations with friends in this great neighborhood.
Halloween Party The halloween party at the Holder's home was a great success. About 1 dozen children attended and enjoyed some holiday crafts, tarantula shaped cookies and other goodies, and outdoor games in the back yard. A costume parade occurred in a maze constructed of autumn leaves. The house was decorated beyond all imagination. Even some adults attended in costume. Thanks go to Kathy Holder, MaryBeth Miller, and Diane Newman for the planning, and to to Marybeth Millerfor the hosting.
FALL Daffodil Planting Jane and Dale Stallard coordinateddaffodil bulb planting sessions on two days in October. They were planted along the sidewalk on Lindbergat the locations opposite Sheridan and Summit openings. A number of neighbors and even someone from farther down Lindberg assisted in this task. Planting was difficult due to the quality of soil inthose locations...but daffodils are hardy and will survive. Look for them next April!
